We are thrilled to announce that your community coalition, the Oceanside Action Partnership, is now a qualified 501(c)(3) with the IRS. This means that donors are granted a tax deduction under IRC Section 170 for contributions they make to OAP as a nonprofit corporation. Your donations can be in the form of tax-deductible bequests, devises, transfers or gifts. The OAP will graciously benefit from your donations and will be able to cover operational expenses, such as application fees, website management, sharing updates, and most importantly pursuing grants for our community projects.

A big thank you goes out to everyone for your excellent collaboration in helping to identify our community priorities. As we always say, it is never too late to get involved or to ask "What can I do to help?".

As a result of your help in identifying projects to accomplish, the most exciting part of being granted nonprofit status is that now we are in position to immediately begin pursuit of grants to benefit our Oceanside community. With some big projects already underway and more on the horizon, we will continue to tackle community goals together.
