Roads and Parking Team Update
June 27, 2026, David Dulaney, Team Coordinator

The Oceanside Action Partnership Roads & Parking Team recently completed its first summer work party, repairing ten potholes throughout the village and along Hillsdale Road. Volunteers used cold-patch asphalt generously provided by Tillamook County Public Works.
We extend our sincere appreciation to Public Works Director Chris Laity and Road Superintendent Shane Hamann for their continued partnership, hands-on training, and outstanding support. Their collaboration helps make these community improvement projects possible.
The Roads & Parking Team is also obtaining contractor quotes for regrading Lilac and Daisy Streets between Sunset Avenue and Chinook Avenue. We look forward to sharing additional updates as this project moves forward.
In more good news, Tillamook County's planned pavement improvements for Tillamook Avenue, Ocean Street, and the upper section of Sunset Avenue remain on schedule for late summer.
With summer in full swing, Oceanside is bustling with residents and visitors enjoying everything our community has to offer. Please drive carefully, watch for pedestrians and cyclists, and help keep Oceanside a safe and welcoming place for everyone.
